Brief Introduction of Shanghai

Among the big cities in China, Shanghai maintains the look of a Western metropolis. It is fascinating and sophisticated. The city started out in the 4th century as a fishing village and became a town till the middle of the 13th century. After the Opium War, Shanghai was gradually opened as a 'treaty port' in the mid year of the 19th century when it had been opened to the foreign trade and led to its partition into British, French and later Japanese concessions. From that time on, foreigners began to flood into this paradise for adventurers. Covering out their own sphere of influence, England, France, the US and Japan settled here by seizing their respective concessions which was known as the territory of each country. It was considered as the colonial period with number of the featured buildings and architectures of cosmopolitan by those owners of the concessions which made Shanghai as a fascinating mixture of East and West.

2.         Famous Shanghai Bund,

The Bund is the showcase with the old buildings of colonial-era leftover along Huangpu River. The renowned waterfront district is the city's most famous landmark. The word BUND is of Anglo-India origin meaning embankment on the waterfront. It is also the popular site to enjoy the night view of the city.

3.         Buddhism shrine - Jade Buddha Temple

Located in a crowd of Shanghai City. It was first built in 1882. It is named for its two bejeweled white jade Buddha. It receives thousands of visitors and worshiper's everyday while keeps its sanctity and charming. Carved from a whole piece of white jade, the sitting jade Buddha statue is translucent with a solemn expression, displaying the excellent skill and extraordinary art of Chinese people.

4.        Experience the Highest Tower in Asia

You will be on the top of Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower which is 468 m high and it is the first highest in Asia and the third highest in the world. The tower consists of 15 spheres at different sizes and different levels creating an artistic conception of “large and small pearls dropping onto a jade plateâ€. It has become a symbolic architecture and a favorable spot for tourists in Shanghai.

5.        Cruise on Huangpu river

Cruising on the Huangpu river is an important traditional travel program in shanghai. Riding a cruise boat along the Huangpu River, you will take a glimpse of yangpu bridge, Nanpu Bridge and shanghai oriental pearl TV tower on both sides. Various exotic architectural buildings on the west bank of Huangpu River stand opposite to various modern skyscrapers on the east bank.

It is always a great idea to cruise in the evening when numerous neon lights connect with the reflection of flicking stars in the Huangpu River. If travel when the tide is rising, one can see the spectacle that three streams combine.

6.        Yuyuan Garden in he heart of shanghai

Yuyuan Garden has a lot of stories for it was severely damaged in the 19th century and was restored in 1961. This garden was first built in the 16th century by provincial governor, Pan Yunduan, in honor of his father who was the then government minister. It has many scenic courtyards decorated with baroque rockery, pools, and flora that are all connected by corridors and passageways. The delicate design and exquisite layout of the whole garden reveals a strong impression of 'garden in the garden, whole in the part.'

7.         Enjoy excited Shopping in Shanghai:

We will not let you leave without satisfied shopping, we will give you chance to shop in the shopping center and cheapest shopping mall in Shanghai. The shopping trip will begin in Nanjing Road which is starts at the Bund and runs westward, with People's square in the middle. Renown for its bustling and modernization, Nanjing Road earns its reputation as the 'First Commercial Road in China', which is the good shopping heaven for your trip as the same as the Fifth Avenue in New York and Avenue des Champs-Elysées in Paris. 8.         Fantastic Shanghai night life

Shanghai offers colorful leisure and recreational activities with rich contents and creative form. Your night is filled with an interactive old form of art known as the Acrobatics. You are told that those professional performers were trained of as early ad age six or seven so that they play so well and excellent. You are conquered again by Chinese people. Definitely, it is an unforgettable night in your memory.

10.     Oriental Venice- Zhouzhuang

We use one day to experience the 900 years-old water town in Jiangnan area. The town is surrounded by water with many branching streams, stone bridges and old residence with black tiles and white walls. You take a Chinese traditional boat in a group of 10 people at the most. The boatman slowly paddles along the river so that you could have a closer look at the ancient buildings of resident and bridges from a unique perspective. What makes you the most unforgettable is the Double Bridge which consists of two connected bridges built between 1573 and 1619. One aperture of bridge is with the shape of round while the other is of quadrate. In a whole, it looks like an ancient key knowing as Key Bridge. Chinese famous painter Mr. Zhang Yifei drew it as the memory of his hometown. In 1985, the painting was published on the first-day cover of stamps of United Nations. As a result, more and more International friends start to know the Zhouzhuang and are eager to see it.

11.      Visit Ningbo city

Ningbo is one China's oldest cities, and has witnessed the rise and fall of numerous dynasties. It also represents the birthplace of Hemudu Culture, which itself has a history of over 7000 years. Yofoto headquarter is located in this city.

Ningbo is a city with strong Buddhist connections and boasts a number of visually-impressive, historical temples. The 1700 year-old Asoka Temple houses the rare Buddhist relics of Sakyamuni, who is the founder of Buddhism; the Tiantong Temple, with a history of over 1600 years, is renowned for its fantastic scenery and subtle architectural style; and the Baoguo Temple boasts one of the best-preserved wooden structures of its type in China. Other Buddhist temples in the city include the Qita Temple, the Tianfeng Pagoda and the Xiantong Pagoda.

The Schedule and the condition for the China trip



The Date:                    June 6, 2009 to June 14, 2009

The package included:

l          Return airline tickets (Bulgaria and Romania to Shanghai - Bulgaria and Romania)

l          Hotels with 3 Star and above in all cities and locations

l          All food of 3 times a day ( Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

l          Tickets for all planned historical sights and entertainment program

l          All China internal Vehicles (fast train, tour bus, Cruise, subway, etc)

l          Professional driver and professional translator and tourist guide


The Total cost:           

Regardless the possible high cost in this season and Chinese RMB appreciation, we fix the total cost of the whole trip for 9 days as 1080 Euro.


The condition for the trip

l          The distributors who fully complete the target will get a free trip to China

l          The distributors who partly complete the target will get a discounted price based on the percentage of their target completion

l          People who are not distributors who want to travel with this trip will pay full price of the cost, and 10% discount for the people who decide to join the company as disturber with 3 BCs.


The deadline

l          We give one more month (April) for distributors to compete their target; the deadline for competition is April 30, 2009.

l          However, in order to make sure that we can get better price of the flight tickets and make sure we have places of the flight during the period we go, as well as you will have time for passport and visa, you must decide if you will go to China or not by the end of March, and provide your passport number, name and deposit for the trip if you are not fully qualified for a free trip. So the deadline will be March 31, 2009.

l          Provide your name and passport number to the office; we will book the flight ticket to fix the price and the place for the flight.
